The 7th South Asia Expo Successfully Concludes
The curtain officially rose on the morning of August 16 for the 7th China-South Asia Expo and the 27th China Kunming Import & Export Fair (hereinafter referred to as the 7th South Asia Expo). Wang Yi, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the Office of the Central Commission for Foreign Affairs, attended the opening ceremony in Kunming and delivered a speech, once again focusing the world's attention on Kunming.

Co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the People's Government of Yunnan Province, the 7th South Asia Expo was held from August 16 to 20, achieving coverage of South Asian, Southeast Asian countries, and members of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP). It stands as one of this year's significant economic and trade exchange activities between China and South Asian countries.
With Nepal as the Theme Country and Myanmar as the Guest of Honor Country, this edition of the expo featured 15 exhibition halls and hosted 14 events during the session, including the 4th China-South Asia Technology Transfer and Innovation Cooperation Conference, promoting continuous development in economic and trade cooperation between China and South Asian nations.

On August 20, the 7th China-South Asia Expo and the 27th China Kunming Import & Export Fair concluded successfully. As learned from a press conference held that day, this expo meticulously designed topics and planned activities around areas of mutual interest to participating countries, such as trade and investment, technology transfer and industrial capacity cooperation, and cultural exchanges. It established itself as a comprehensive exhibition integrating bilateral and multilateral diplomacy, goods trade, investment promotion, tourism cooperation, and cultural exchange. The profile and scale of attendees, effectiveness of activities, transactional results during the expo, online achievements, and societal impact all exceeded expectations, further solidifying its role as an important platform for promoting exchanges and cooperation between China and South Asia, as well as with countries around the world.

Yulong Technology Showcases at the 7th South Asia Expo

The exhibit presented by Yulong Technology at this expo was a model of an artificial graphite anode material production line. Artificial graphite offers advantages such as ease of graphitization, high electrical conductivity, relatively low cost, and low ash content. It also provides sufficient lithium intercalation capacity and excellent reversible lithium deintercalation, meeting requirements for high voltage, large capacity, long cycle life, and current density. Consequently, artificial graphite anode materials have become the mainstream product in the anode material market in recent years. In 2022, the market size of China's anode material industry reached RMB 40.875 billion, with the artificial graphite anode material segment accounting for RMB 38.527 billion, representing over 90% of the market share.
